LMTA teachers and students participate in many wonderful music programs in addition to those offered by LMTA. We are proud of our active, professional teachers and their hard-working students! Here is a sampling of what we’ve been doing outside of LMTA in 2007–08 (to see details on LMTA Event participation, see “Events”):
National Music Certificate Program 2007: Lancaster Center at Millersville University
Each year, the National Music Certificate Program holds challenging piano practical exams and theory exams at the local center at Millersville University. Students who score the highest (with a minimum score of 80) in each grade level and pass any required theory elements for the Lancaster Center receive a Center Certificate of Excellence. LMTA teachers prepared these winning students for 2007:
Justin Moore - piano student of Cheryl Faul Gingerich, Preparatory A Center Certificate of Excellence
Hannah Riden - piano student of Rachel Moore, Grade 1 Center Certificate of Excellence
